A meeting between writer Şəmil Sadiq and school students has been held.

An event featuring a meeting with writer Şəmil Sadiq was organized at the Central Library of the Binagadi District Centralized Library System, operating under the Baku City Main Department of Culture.

The event, titled “Children Who Became Great People,” was attended by the head of the Children’s Department of the library, school students, class teachers, and library staff. During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the writer.

Throughout the meeting, Şəmil Sadiq spoke extensively about his creative work, the “Children Who Became Great People” book series, as well as his authored works “The Path to Victory,” “Values,” and “Mubariz Ibrahimov.” A video presentation dedicated to the writer’s creative activity was also shown to the participants.

During the event, the author also informed attendees about the 5th Children’s Book Festival to be held on May 13–17 and presented sample books prepared for the festival to the children.

Səbahət Məmmədova, a teacher from Secondary School No. 102, shared her kind words with the writer. The school students performed engaging сценеttes by portraying characters from the “Children Who Became Great People” book series.

Later, the writer answered questions from the audience. At the end of the event, Şəmil Sadiq donated several copies of his books “The Path to Victory,” “Values,” and “Mubariz Ibrahimov” to the Children’s Department of the Central Library and to the participating students.
